My research area is Ancient Greek Philosophy. Although I have published almost exclusively on Aristotle's ethics and moral psychology, my research interests are considerably wider, in terms of both topics (ancient biology, epistemology, methodology, etc.) and figures or schools (Plato, the Stoics, Plotinus).
My other philosophical interests include (but are not limited to) several historical figures (e.g., Augustine, Aquinas, Leibniz, Kant, Hegel, or Freud), history of ethics, aesthetics and philosophy of art, free will/philosophy of action, and early Chinese philosophy. |
